Joe is an ornamental squash. He's a bit pudgy around the waistline because, well, in his words, "I may be outside, but, um, I don't get out much." And when you're just hanging around the vine, exercise doesn't come easy. But Joe is a great story teller. He's so tapped into the vine, he pretty much knows what's going on in the lives of all the other vegetables and fruits at Meadow School's Common Ground Garden.
Wanna take home Joe and maybe roll him around the yard a few laps or just ask him if all those rumors are true about that family of Fava Beans that, in a random act of patriotism, joined the Marines at Camp Legume?
Then ADOPT JOE NOW.
He's yours for only $15.
She's very green on the vine. But then Muriel, a sugar pumpkin, is less than three months old. Remarkably, she already knows most all of her A, B, Seeds.. Probably because she's been suspended, no, not from school, but in front of a wooden sign. (See picture.)
